A fun and colourful wooden teaching clock, with chunky shaped magnetic number pieces. Ideal for learning to tell the time! The clock base has a circle in the middle which is divided up into four different coloured sections to mark quarters of an hour. Around this circle are 60 minute markings, and around this are the shaped indents for the hour number pieces. Each hour number piece is a particular shape (either a circle, square, triangle, or pentagon) and a particular colour (either red, yellow, blue, green or orange). Each piece has the numeral clearly displayed on it, as well as the number word (i.e. '12' and 'twelve'). The chunky number pieces are held in place by magnets. This is an ideal toy for teaching telling the time. In addition, the different colours and shaped pieces are also great for developing matching skills, as well as colour, shape and number matching and recognition skills.

• The clock has movable red hour and minutes hands.
• This sorting and teaching clock was awarded a silver award by the 2008 Practical Pre-School Awards.
• Made from replenishable rubberwood.
• Suitable for children aged 2 years and older.
• Dimensions: Diameter of 25cm.

Super Clock

mummyofone

We brought this Clock for my sons second birthday and he loves it. We use it every night as part of his bed time routine, we go into his room about an hour before bed to calm down, the clock is brilliant to use as he sits and really focus' on where each number goes. As he's only two (and still not talking) it's mainly the shapes he's using to get them in place but he is definately learning to use the numbers to place them as we say each number he picks up. It looks great in his room up on his shelf and the pieces have survived being thrown across the room. The magnets in the shapes are excellent for keeping them all in place. I found it a little difficult to get the back stand in at first, but once I'd done it, its worked brilliantly. I would reccomend this product to anyone.

A great product. Our daughter loves playing with the clock and guessing what the time is. And, of course, while having lots of fun, she is learning lots too. The item is big and easy to read and the fun blocks around the outside of the clock add an extra dimension of play and learning too.
